Khanyile Christian Maneli is the current Municipal Manager of Nkonkobe Municipality. He holds a Masters degree in Law and Development Studies. Nkonkobe is a Municipality made up of Debe Nek, Middle Drift, Alice, Fort Beaufort, Hogsback, and Seymour. The Municipality is largely rural and among the poorest in the Eastern Cape. It is proud to be home of the University of Fort Hare, and some of the most significant historical landmarks and cultural heritage sites of South Africa.
