Cultural Diplomacy as a Listening Project?

Yesterday right down the hall from COTELCO the School of International Service held a conference on Cultural Diplomacy. The conference consisted of three plenary sessions with the following topics: Educational, Cultural Exchanges, New Social Media and Public Diplomacy 2.0 and Cultural Intelligence: Does it include listening? The day included a gathering of practicioners and researchers in an effort to more clearly understand the concept of cultural diplomacy. Next year maybe they will have COTELCO broadcast the conference live via the web!

Role of 'Google Maps' in International Relations

According to a report on the Wired, Nicaraguan troops crossed the Costa Rican border, and replaced the Costa Rican flag with their own because... "Google Maps mistakenly said the territory belonged to Nicaragua."
