Pawns to Partners project will be presenting some of its findings at International Association for Media and Communication Research's 2011 Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. COTELCO will be represented by IDPP and P2P team at the conference.
Our presentation is entitled "Who Makes Decisions? Role of Gender on Communication and Participation in WSIS". As the title suggests, the focus will be on gender and communication patterns among civil society participants of WSIS. Hope to see you in Istanbul!

As Christine and Ben mentioned in their earlier posts here and here , Dr. Cogburn and I went to Albuquerque, New Mexico both to attend American Political Science Association's Teaching and Learning Conference and to support APSA with remote participation. Last Wednesday, I - together with our Associate Director Maria-Nelly Pavisich - visited a Washinton Internship for Native Students Session to deliver a presentation about some of the collaborative research tools we use here at COTELCO.
