The Center for Research on Collaboratories and Technology Enhanced Learning Communities (COTELCO) is a social science research center that explores the socio-technical infrastructure required to support geographically distributed collaboration and knowledge work, particularly between developed and developing countries. It is based upon principles of universal design and accessibility.


Executive Director Joins NAE/IOM Advisory Group for Online Ethics Center

COTELCO/IDPP Executive Director Dr. Derrick Cogburn has been invited to the Joint Advisory Group of the Online Ethics Center at the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and the Institute of Medicine (IOM). The NAE and IOM are in the midst of expanding an Online Ethics Center to become a leading online source for resources on ethics and ethics education in science and engineering.

Presenting remotely from the NETmundial Conference in Brazil, Executive Director Dr. Derrick Cogburn will introduce workshop participants to COTELCO’s geographically distributed collaboration model and accessible cyberinfrastructure.

COTELCO Hosts Live Stream of NETmundial 2014 Sessions

COTELCO will live stream two conference sessions, one each on 23 and 24 April, at the COTELCO Center (SIS Room T10).
